I received this sad news just now. My dealer was certain that the car is awaiting transport from the port in RI to the dealer in CT on a car transport. Bummed! Any ideas what Ford means by “we will require additional time”?
Check out this coincidence: I visited my dealer this afternoon to discuss financing arrangements. My MY22 Badlands is due to arrive here in Connecticut next week, but he tells me that it’s stuck at the pier up in Quonset Point, Rhode Island, one hour away, awaiting a truck driver. Apparently the...

When I just logged onto the tracking page to check on my BS/BL status, the "shipped" message remains posted there (car due to arrive here in CT next week) but, although my window sticker was available for several weeks after 11/29, it now says, "The sticker has not yet been released." ???!!!
Ha. I have taught the novel and shown snippets of the film in my 12th grade Satire classes over the last decade. It has timeless appeal, like a red ‘71 Bronco with a 302 and Select-shift on the floor.
Mine, too. As a result, I thought it might have arrived at the dealership, so I dropped by, but alas, not a single lonely BS was parked anywhere in their yard. Plenty of Lincolns, though; they must be selling at bargain basement prices!
Be patient. I believe I waited 10 days or more “in production“ before I received the “built” email. The very next day I received the “sent” email. You’re sure to see some movement soon, and good luck!
I feel considerable comfort in the fact that a Ford rep is monitoring these fora and taking steps to help us. Thank you! You know how much we love our Bronco Sports!
Absolutely disgraceful exploitation. As you say, we have already paid for these items on our vehicles. Shame on Toyota ... no surprise that we all are eagerly awaiting Ford products. Heated seats? What a joke.
I did. "Production" took about 10 days (incl Thanksgiving) before I received the "Built" email. The next day (12/4) a "Shipped" email arrived in my inbox. My dealer here in CT should have it the first week of January, unless the train derails in TX or some other catastrophe befalls it. It's a...
Hey Nick, I love your BS/BL. Mine will be arriving soon - week of January 3 - and I'm hoping to change out the wheels and add a nudge bar to mine as well. Where did you buy the nudge bar? Mind if I ask what it cost you? Looks GREAT all around! Thanks!
Don't fret. Mine was "In Production" for about ten days. Then, one morning I awoke to a "Built" email, and the next morning I received the "Shipped" email. Confirmed next steps with the dealer yesterday, and I hope to have my keys in hand the week of January 3.
