I'd normally be in the camp of eh, I guess I'd get used to it, but two things make me think otherwise. One, when I had to replace my 2021 with a 2022, I never got over the loss of the temperature readout on the actual dial. Two, I suffered a major shoulder injury earlier this year and reaching...
This actually happened to me — I had service at the dealer and when I got it back, I couldn’t figure out why the display was all messed up and it was behaving oddly. Luckily a quick google search turned up that they must have pushed that button at the service center.
My 2021 didn’t have it, but my 2022 had it from basically as soon as I got it. Lately it’s even gotten worse. I tried to have the last TSB repair performed and when the parts arrived, the dealer informed me they were told by Ford not to install them because there was a stop order in place for...
The local dealer sent a mobile technician to my house to do the programming 10 days ago. Took about 15-20 minutes. So far I’ve noticed zero difference in anything.
The local dealer called me a couple of weeks ago to tell me about the recall (which I already knew about) and offered to send a mobile technician to perform the update. He came last Friday and other than some annoying nonsense with their appointment system, it couldn’t have been easier.
The...
See my update above — the dealership now can’t do the fix because Ford issued a stop order on the current TSB. I have to wait until they come out with the new one.
Well, I guess I’m never getting this fixed. I had an appointment this week for the current TSB and the dealership called to say Ford has issued a stop order and won’t allow the parts to be installed now.
I had an appointment scheduled for this week to do the fix from TSB 23-2308 for the moaning brakes issue, and the dealership called to say Ford has issued a stop order on it and won’t allow the parts to be installed now.
I presume it’s because they’re reportedly working on another TSB coming in...
Shoot, my dealer just got the parts in to do the current fix on mine. I can’t wait until fall because I’ll be out of warranty then. Guess I’ll just cross my fingers the current fix works for me.
My windshield got a chip in the lower left and immediately became a crack running more than half the width. Had it replaced thanks to my no-deductible full glass coverage and THE NEXT DAY, it got a small chip. When they tried to fill it, it turned into a crack and I had to get another new...
That’s how I found the glass shop that did mine — I asked the dealer who does their glass work. As luck would have it, one of the glass guys was leaving the dealership at that exact moment, so I was able to get the info directly.
My 2022 has it! I put a pen in it just because I can and then promptly forgot all about it ;-)
My favorite thing: remote start to get the seats nice and toasty before I get in.
I think I win — I got a chip that quickly became a crack more than halfway across the windshield. Because I have no-deductible full glass coverage on my insurance, I had it replaced at an OEM shop. THE NEXT DAY, despite driving like a scared grandma and keeping well back of other cars, I got...
I don’t feel comfortable asking a friend to use their address. While I know it’s not shady, it certainly sounds shady and I would understand people being reluctant to be involved. The P.O. Box is an interesting idea, though.
Man, I wish I could get this from you (I'm a California resident with no access to an out-of-state address). Any word on whether this law or your ability to sell in California might change? I'm so confused about why this law was enacted in the first place ...
