I picked up our BS from the dealer today after having the FDM recall done, plus I had them do the first oil change. Before I left the dealer's lot I popped the hood to make sure that my engine cover was still there!

I am thinking of going to school to become a missing engine cover therapist!

I dont see how the turbo could spool up at idle. Sounds more like the radiator cooling fan.

Good grief! The first one is for the 1.5L 3 cylinder, the second one is for the 2.0 4 cylinder. Both are OEM engine covers!!!

Very nice Michael. I am working on a similar design, but using a different approach. I stopped work on mine until spring, got too cold in NH for me to work outside.

You already have that one, it's under the black bracket. You don't have to buy that one.

I had the same problem. I finally gave it a quick hard upward jerk and it came off. It fits tight over the ball, but it will come off. Hope this helps.
