I don't like the rust or the shiny new muffler that you can see from the back of a new vehicle. One of the first things I do with a new vehicle is spray everything that shows with a high-temp flat black paint. It looks much better in my opinion and probably helps with the premature rust.

The Lincoln MKC I had was either a 2.0 or a 2.3. Different engine cover than the 1.5. If you have a Badlands with a 2.0, it may work.
