Yeah I was initially freaking out because I just passed 36k warranty limit. I turned on the front camera while cleaning the windshield and watched it dripping out.
My VW is also leaking washer fluid too, haha.
a quick google search suggests it's wiper fluid. I just past 36k miles, however did purchase the extended warranty a few days ago. Hopefully it went into effect.
Great point about the different trim levels. There's enough differences that I wouldn't be surprised by different reliability. The key thing is that reliability is a relative term and that you could very likely purchase a vehicle that over performs these ratings.
we had a couple of days of rain and I know of a spot in the city that has a short off-roading trail. I went straight there from the dealership knowing there would be some good puddles. I guess I just missed my baby bronco!
Consumer reports predicts the 2025 Bronco Sport to be more reliable than the past models and this makes sense. There were lots of issues sourcing parts and raw materials during the 2021-2023. Things seem to have gotten better but of course, that may change again as supply chains are yet again...
Turns out the compressor locked up and burned out. They checked the fluid and it was good, no contamination. While they had it they replaced two seat belts that were looking to have some issues, all under warranty.
I'm definitely going to purchase the extended warranty now. We are putting...
My AC failed the other day. I'm just under 36k miles so I brought it into the dealership. I am assuming this is covered under warranty though I didn't ask. They were kind enough to get me a rental while they work on it. I have a rear seat belt that also needs to be replaced. We are getting...
I really like the Falken Wildpeak A/T 3's on my 23 BS BL. Overall the vehicle is quiter than my VW, but I think that has to do with sound dampening in the BS. I don't find the tires to be loud and they are great both on and off-road.
Last month I looked into replacing my VW golf Sportwagen for a full size Bronco. The BS BL is a very competent off roader and I often find myself on trails with Jeeps. The biggest downside is clearance.
another reason for looking to upgrade was the BS is a bit tight on space. Kids are still in...
My first vehicle was a stripped down Jeep Comanche, no AC, manual, no power steering, no FM radio, no power brakes.
In the BS I love off roading with windows down regardless of temp. Living in Phoenix, AC for regular driving is necessary for basic health safety.
