  3. Falken Wildpeak A/T4W Tires | NOW Available at DTC!

With the discontinuation of the AT3W, I wonder if the delay in Badlands production* is due to Ford needing to choose another AT tire upgrade for the Badlands. A heavier tire might require a new EPA mileage certification, as heavier tires usually reduce fuel mileage. Food for thought. *...
  4. Tire Rotation

I supposed it depends on your dealer and their mechanics. Previously, they rotated diagonally, currently they only do front to back. I noted the change in rotation pattern on my last oil change and tire rotation with my Escape. I had it serviced just a few months before receiving my BS BL.
  5. First project - DIY Cargo Cover

  9. Ford App Stranded Me!

But one can add it as Dealer Installed Option. I did. It's the same as the original, not the stick-on keypad added to Broncos and Mavericks.
  10. First Hard Freeze - Ford Designers Will Make You Pay a Hard Price

Last winter, when I was going to refill the washer reservoir on my Escape, I discovered that all I had was 2 gallons of summer washer fluid in my garage, that I had bought on sale. Rather than dump what was in the reservoir, I added some 90% Isopropyl., and watched for winter washer fluid to go...

  12. Outer Banks on 'Material Hold?'

I watch the Long McArthur live streams every week (Tuesday nights, 7pm CST) and think that one recent constraint was for 225/65/17 All Season tires. I had that wrong when I first posted this. I went back and watched one of the recent Scheduling Notes. FordVideoGuy breaks out certain parts of...
  13. List the deleted items from the '21 to '23

Not for '24 models, where the keypad is dealer installed. It's up to the dealer's tech who installed the keypad to provide the factory code to the customer.
  14. Bronco Battery

Count ourselves lucky. The 3rd Gen Escape is an order of magnitude worse to change. Some small shops don't even like to do it.

  17. If you had $2000 for mods…

I've spent about 2K on mods for my 24 Badlands. First, add back the parts that Ford removed in their cost cutting efforts over the last 3 years. After that, appearance and convenience items, such as window air deflectors, bug deflector for hood, interior appearance fru-fru, bumper cover, dash...

  19. List the deleted items from the '21 to '23

I recently got a 2024 Bronco Sport Badlands. The door keypad is the same as the one on the older cars - internal on the B pillar, and not the external keypad used on the Mavericks and Big Broncos. The only difference that I am aware of for the Bronco Sport is that it is dealer installed. I...
  20. Engine tapping Bronco sport 1.5L ecoboost

Yes, Bronco Sport Badlands. I have a Lincoln engine cover, and the firewall blanket , cowl insulator, has been on order for months. It seems that some dealers won't sell without a VIN matching the part number. I''m not sure how I combined answer to 2 posts in one reply, but I'll continue. When...
