Several moths ago I wrote here that the service writer at my dealer said that ceramics would fix it but Ford will not do it. Ford says that metallic brakes are necessary! He said that the problem lies in the fact that there is a copper shortage and pads are now being made with less metal in them.

Since the "whale moan" is not a safety issue, Ford is not obligated to do anything!

The "fix" is to install ceramic brake pads per my Ford dealer. Problem is Ford won't authorize the fix because they say you must use metallic brake pads. Service writer claims that a copper shortage is at the core of the problem. If that's the case, why haven't other manufacturers had this issue.

Did not fix the problem!

I use a Swiffer duster. It reaches places the California Duster won't. Since the dashboard is vinyl, you could use most any non-abrasive cleaner. I tend to use Maguire's products

Are the turning lights just the fog lights getting brighter when you turn?

I have a '22 Outer Banks with the tech package. I keep the fog lights activated all of the time. When cornering, I can see the cornering light go on.

I've seen the angled extensions but I think they will still have a downward bend.

I don't plan to do any off-roading so I don't think that is an issue.

Has any installed tailpipe extensions that DO NOT turn down toward the road as the BS OEM exhaust pipe does? I've seen a number of good looking extensions on lone that are angled but I am afraid that they will still tilt downward. See link below for example...
