If you've read most of these battery threads, you'll notice that most of us do not have an AGM battery, but more like an Enhanced Flooded Battery (including me). Cheers!
Just for another data point, I haven't had any hydroplaning issues with my BS running 235/65-17 Michelin CrossClimate SUV tires in 13k miles. They are unidirectional as well. Cheers!
Here's the thread showing the JCR with the original oil drain hole and the additional hole the owner put in for the 6.6 quart pan:

Cheers!
Also, I think the JCR skid has access for the oil drain plug, except that it is not in the right place for the 6.6 quart pan found on later sports like mine. Cheers!
I modified the block heater cord on my 94 F350 diesel and my 97 F250 diesel to terminate out on the bumper (with a spring loaded cover for better accessibility. No need to open the hood! Cheers!
I got into forums years ago when I got my first Ford 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel truck (first-year 94.5). I knew nothing about them and wanted to learn about them. For the most part, I am the mechanic for my vehicles, so the forums are invaluable for this information (along with factory service...
My BS has the EFB in it and I have the AS/S eliminator installed on mine. No issues in over 12k miles so far (knock-on-wood). If it goes, it will get an AGM. Cheers!
I've only had mine in for an oil change and without me mentioning that I have the 6.6 quart oil pan, they put in the correct amount of oil (I checked afterwards). My BS came with the carpeted floor mats and I wanted to order the all-weather mats. The parts guy told me he had a set that someone...
Probably because their claims are BS. I'd want to see the dyno sheets backing those numbers up. You don't get something for nothing. Many times you need supporting mods (for example, larger injectors) to get those kinds of gains. Manufacturers also need to worry about emissions and...
Just did this on mine. One thing on the updates, they always seem to install successfully, but it never has written back the XML file to the USB drive. If it has, I've never found it. I know that uploading this file to Ford has been an issue and I don't really worry about it since everything...
I've had the start/stop eliminator on mine since the beginning and after 12k miles I've had no issues (knock on wood). I also do not have an AGM battery (it's supposedly an EFB by part number). Cheers!
I am praying for you, Jon! If the hospice is good, they will do all they can to make you comfortable. Keep them appraised of how you are feeling, both physically and spiritually. They will help you!
I have the $99.00 one. In your opinion, I overpaid. In my opinion, It's totally worth it. To each his own. I won't bag on someone else's mods. The install is plug-n-play and I never even think about having to remember turn it off. If they made a plug-n-play unit for 2023 Highlander, I would...
