if it's not a serious crack more of a simple fracture line try JB weld
as noted above by Glamdring70 a vacuum leak is to be avoided

checked stud used for grounding harness controller
Battery 12.59 volts
Battery through voltmeter to grounding stud 12.59 volts ✅
ran controller positive wire internally
through lamp housing (empty existing plug) to cargo area
up rear hatch post
across ceiling liner...
Hadn't really thought about it until yesterday
running wire beneath drive side dash
spotted steering wheel shaft/u-joint
penetrates wall of cab almost floor level
no visible seal on the inside of cab
sorta takes the recreation right out of it
been living in this spot for over 23 years
years of noticeable traffic flow on the weekends
large park just down the road
lately gas prices cut that down remarkably
