As long as it hasn't gone into production and there's no window sticker, you should be able to change it. I can't say if it will create further delays for you though.
I have only ever owned small 4 door vehicles (except for my scion). I went from a '94 corolla to a '03 corolla (adventurous I know), then a '12 Scion TC. From 2011-2018 I worked from home and really didn't need to worry about driving in bad weather, however I live in Boise, Idaho and we can get...
I usually see about one a week in Boise, Idaho, depending on how much driving I'm doing that day, although I think I end up seeing the same drivers quite often.
That's really inexcusable. I'm glad they made things right, but thanks for posting. This is a good warning to people to make sure they fully inspect their vehicle before driving away from the dealership.
38 year old male here. Badlands on the way, I've definitely seen more female Sport drivers, but I don't care. I love the look of the vehicle, and I've always been someone who gravitated towards vehicles that women preferred. I had a Scion TC and an Audi A3 before this. I don't feel emasculated...
For reference, I ordered my Badlands in October, it was confirmed October 29th, and it shipped a few days ago with an estimated delivery between Feb 28 and March 6, and I live in Boise, Idaho. Hope that helps you gauge things.
If you aren't using it to tow anything, think about getting a weathertech bump step, the main purpose is to have a step so you can reach things better on the roof, but the best part about having one is if someone rear ends you, the bump step takes the brunt of the damage and saves your bumper...
Placed my order for my Badlands near the end of October 2021.
10/29/21 - Order confirmed email
11/18/21 - Production scheduled for week of January 24, 2022.
1/19/22 - Production date pushed back one week to 1/31/22
2/8/22 - Email notifying me that Badlands was built
2/10/22 - Email...
You could start listening to djent exclusively and then you might not notice it as much.
In all seriousness that is super annoying and a little worrying since I'm still waiting on my vehicle. Hope you get it fixed.
I ordered 10/29/21, went into production 1/28/22. No other updates since then, was not even notified by email that it was in production. Found out by checking the tracking info daily.
Well I never went to a real college so that explains it
Ah okay, that makes sense then, thanks. Interesting though that it's still only 400lbs, so I guess if you subtract the 150 for the tent, roof racks, and items you put in the tent, you're left with 250lbs to safely have 2 occupants...
Probably a dumb question, but if the weight limit for the roof is 100-150lbs, and you put a rooftop tent on that weights 100lbs, do you risk damaging your roof simply by using the tent or does the weight distribution from the tent base itself prevent the roof from being damaged?
Man it seems like these dates are all over the place. I ordered around 10/25, got confirmation email 10/29, week or two later got a build date of 1/24, then last week it got pushed to 1/31. I guess I should be happy that it only got pushed out a week...so far.
