US tracker site hasn’t been working for me today so I hit up the Canadian tracker and see mine finally arrived at the dealership. We’ll see how long it takes them to do the prep. I’m resisting the urge to just drive by and see it because it’s mildly out of the way since I’m not in the office. As...
I spoke to the new car sales manager today at my dealership. He estimates arrival “sometime in the next week” and claims the reason my vehicle hasn’t moved since coming off the train 17 days ago is the truck drivers don’t want to drive while gas is expensive. ?
Needless to say, our conversation...
That’d be me. My salesman said it’s taking up to 20 days from offload at the last rail stop to the dealership. Once again, low volume probably hurting me because they’ll wait until they have a full truck. ?
Yeah, I figured that to be the case. I’m working with a low volume dealer, probably garbage allocation has contributed to my extra long wait. If they do right by me at delivery on price and making sure everything is right it will have been worth it. The high volume dealers near me make no bones...
There were two of us on that same route. The other person has theirs now and mine still hasn’t arrived at the dealer after reaching the last rail stop on July 18th. ?‍♂️
Well, my tracker had bumped up to arriving at the dealership between 7/24-7/30 but apparently they just pushed it out to this coming week when the truck didn’t arrive in that time frame. What’s 38 weeks when it’s already been 37?
Firstly, I’m sad for you that you have to experience this but thank you for posting it and the clear pics! I’m likely to take delivery this weekend or early next week so additional things to watch for from likely similar build weeks is good looking out. ! ?
I think that’s likely. They probably don’t bother to check the United tracking unless they’re watching for something for a specific reason, otherwise just check the standard Ford VVR.
@Tink27 i called United Road and the reason we can’t really see anything is that we’re not the dealership. So, we can see the UR is the road carrier and that there’s an order but won’t ever be able to get the useful thing we need from that site (the delivery date).
I got the same result as you. I see a load number and my dealer destination but no Order ID not any kind of date to expect it to arrive or anything.
As of yesterday FoMoCo chat reps said my order showed as arriving at the dealer between July 24-30, which is *checks calendar* NOW. So I might get...
Yes, I received notice that it was built on 6/25 and an email showing that it was shipped on 6/29. I was able to get rail car information and tracked it through Arizona, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and finally to Florida as of Monday, July...
I mean, I don’t discount anyone frustration at the way this process unfolds but there are people in this forum with outsized (to me) reactions who’ve only been waiting 2-3 months. I’m at 8 and a half months and still no actual date on delivery. ?
256 days but who’s counting?!
I needed to pass my dealership yesterday and spotted what I thought might be mine on the lot but it turned out to be a dealer inventory OBX in the same color. Salesman told me it’s averaging them 20 days from last rail stop to lot delivery and mine arrived at the...
