Took a phenomenal trip up to Flagpole Knob in George Washington National Forest this weekend by way of Skidmore lake. Didn’t get a ton of great pics (terrain never looks as hard as it was in person), but it was some surprisingly tough terrain! Lots of sections where I was very grateful for my...
Howdy all,
I took my config back to stock, then compared it against our Outer banks that had ACC from the factory and changed what was pertinent to Copilot360+. Thankfully, on the latest forscan this can all be done with the easy mode settings, no need to edit as-builts anymore. Reminder that...
All the parts are on backorder unfortunately. I also cant get anyone to get me a good picture of the assembly on the existing 2025's. Until someone rips one out of a crashed 2025, or someone gets a copy of the 2025 shop manual with the detailed diagrams, the answer is 'most likely possible'.
Much suffering later….they're on! Will have to get some glamor shots later. Stoked to have them, but very happy that’s over with. Since I’ve seen some conflicting posts about it, you do NOT lose any ground clearance. It kinda looks like it since the rails are below the doors, but the skids/rails...
How on earth did you get through the pinch weld? Using a Milwaukee cordless at medium low speed, fresh cobalt bits, and cutting fluid and I’ve barely made a dent in the first hole after a ton of drilling. Seriously I’m going to wear out before these drill bits do
Who knows, they’re a pretty simple mechanism. No real reason why they should. Not every front camera has defective stock valving, if it’s working and not leaking then don’t touch it
Howdy all,
I've seen this sporadically reported, but if you're like me you've got a Bronco Sport with a front camera // front camera washer. That front camera washer leaks, even while not using the washer system. Eventually it will just puke out the entire reservoir onto your garage floor...
I’ll give it a few days for testing, but a quick 20 minute job and it appears to have solved my leaking problem! A full tank of washer fluid, a full half day of driving, some frequent random front washer test sprays, and not a single drop leaking. Pressure looks the same as it did before. Before...
Gotcha; that 17603 is the part I replaced as well. Since the hose is ~40$ and a little difficult to fully access, I’m going to add a check valve up front on the hose as far forward as I can (they can be found as washer check valve repair parts on Amazon), I’ll let you know if that fixes it.
What did they do for the other 2 repairs? My FE does this, I swapped the camera washer when I had the bumper off but it didn’t fix it. There must be a check valve inline somewhere that’s failing. Based on the parts diagram it might right up there at the front
For the first part, the wire I used did indeed have a coating on it so it was like one strand with red and black inside. Since its exterior wiring I wanted it tough. A plastic panel tool will help a lot for shoving wire down into tight places
For the second part; here you go! You’ll want to...
It probably won’t quite fit, I removed the drivers pillar trim to tuck it underneath that. Everywhere else I was able to tuck it under the striping though, including across the top of the windshield to reach the passenger side
Cool aren’t they!! I was stoked to see such a perfect little premade solution, I’d never seen anyone run them before. I used 18 gauge; they don’t draw that many amps and you’ll want the smaller gauge to be able to tuck it under the weather stripping
