I’m probably going to. But it’s a bit like torture as I already want one but have no way to buy one beyond used for way more than msrp since they aren’t even taking orders. :(
Not hard at all. I used a body panel tool at the top to get enough room to get my fingers in, then you pull back towards you at a slight angle. There are two body clips, one at the top and one near the middle, and it lines up with an air vent tube at the bottom along with some tabs on the bottom...
I have forscan... What are we confirming, that they claim a module is already there?
I confirm via eyeballing everything up in there and in forscan, it was not already installed :D
Ah-ha! That makes sense. Thanks.
Yeah I saw that video. That was not the case on my BS, the module was not already installed.
It did have the standard perimeter alarm.
According to Ford:
The perimeter alarm is a deterrent against unauthorized access to your vehicle through the doors and the...
Just noticed that on the official accessory site they now have a 20% off up to $1000 single use coupon for May. It's FORD20. Last month was only 15%.
Now to decide what I want... hmm....
I got gap via my auto insurance. And only because I bought this used, so I had to deal with 'market price'...
Gap coverage from my insurance doesn't cover as much as the third party one the dealer tried selling me (25% vs 50%), but I don't need that much and this is a LOT cheaper. And I pay for...
My dealer shows several Bronco's and Bronco Sports 'in transit'. But after talking with my sales guy those have all already been sold. It's the ford inventory system showing them this dealer's case.

Just some pictures for reference for people in the future.
I used one of the hardwire adapters off amazon. Goes from 12v bare wires to USB Mini B 5v. Used an add-a-fuse kit on fuse #3 in the passenger footwell area. It comes on with ignition and does not go off with auto-start-stop, on mine at...
It's part # KN1Z19A361A
https://accessories.ford.com/products/ford-perimeter-plus-vehicle-security-system-20
The part number on the module itself is KN1J-19G367-AA which is how I found the one I got from ebay. I believe the first number is the kit that includes the module, the wiring harness...
Started considering removing the vinyl from the front and plasti-dip from the back and going back to white BRONCO lettering... the black really disappears.. Thinking I liked the way the white looked, particularly in the front, might leave back, not sure...
When passing it's hard to see the...
If the Ford representative were to do something like say... 'everyone missing a hood insulation, let me know and we'll get you a replacement'...
First, I'd pass out from shock.
Then I'd wonder if I was hallucinating....
Then it would keep me ordering a Bronco at the end of the year instead of...
So... I didn't like that photo and wanted a good one. So I drove out to the middle of no where hoping to get there before the light went away, and got this:
A not so great quick photo
I need to get a better tire cleaner. The fronts have either brake dust or tire bloom that didn't come off at the self-wash. Hand dried with an absorber and then went over it with Turtle wax ceramic 3-in-1 detailer.
