Came close a couple times in my youth. Both times things went sideways right before the day so I got kinda jaded on the piece of paper stating marriage. Been with my wife for 14 years now and we just got around to getting officially married last week.
That is gorgeous! Mine didn't look near that nice when I got it. I didn't realize when I bought it that someone had swapped in a rear glass from a '75 so it has the wrap around rear window. Common thing people did in the 80's I've heard. I'm planning on swapping it back one of these days. I had...
Your post brings back memories. I didn't want to drive my Firebird in the winter so I found a POS '84 Mustang LX with a blown transmission for $200. Paid $300 for a used c5 tranny and I was off and going all winter. I've driven mopeds with more power than that little 3.8 V6. Sunroof leaked like...
I would, and I did. '73 Firebird Formula. Adult life hit after high school and figured I'd never have time to fix it up so I sold it. Always regretted it. A few years later I saw it for sale on Craigslist a couple towns over and bought it back.
I feel out of place not mountain biking around here.
Besides the usual hunting and fishing which the bronco will help immensely with fuel mileage, I run a trap line all winter. Usually going after coyote, badger, bobcat, beaver, mink, muskrat, marten, and wolf. I'm also am old car nut. Have...
I'll offer a different opinion than everyone else so far. For that close in price, I'd go with the Big Bend. Only real difference is a few creature comfort tech things and nearly 15,000 miles. For the same price I'd go with much fewer miles. Tech add ins don't mean much to me and I'd rather...
If Im just keeping it there for everyday use, it's in whatever position I left it in last. If I know I have something big to haul with seats down before I leave home I just put it in the house. If I suddenly need the whole space while out and about, I stuff it in that big ass gap between the...
Became a two Bronco household yesterday. Wife's Heritage finally arrived. Gotta say the pictures do not do the Robins egg justice. She's a happy camper now.
Shovel and a nice peaceful spot with a view.
Quick story somewhat related. Years ago when I was running bear hounds all summer we would be up there every weekend so we just left campers there. Got there one weekend and someone had taken a giant dump on the steps of a buddies camper. Even poked...
I have the "full size" spare that comes with the tow package, but I didn't need it. Small enough hole that I was able to make it home. Running about 15 psi in it by the time I got there but it made it without swapping it.
Depends on what you call lite trails but it'll probably do just fine. Took ours out on a whim with a small group. Bone stock and it kept up just fine with a Badlands and a lifted Big Bend. Sharp rock put a small hole in the crappy stock tires I had to patch the next day but otherwise fine.
