  1. New to me Bronco Sport, not so new to Ford

That’s good ! I forgot the other thing that annoys me is really just a ford thing . all the ding dong noises and the horn beeping at me if I get out of the car with fob in my pocket , like getting the mail when I come home and leave engine running …..
  2. New to me Bronco Sport, not so new to Ford

I hope you like it , the one thing I really dislike about my 22 Badlands is the stupidity rotary shifter and its location. I would almost trade in the vehicle because of it! do you like it?
  3. Bushwacker fender flare fell off!

The ā€˜fake’ rivets on the flares are just nut and bolts to plastic so you could get longer bolts and drill holes in you fender and accelerate the rust ! Not a good option .
  4. Bushwacker fender flare fell off!

They look ok on the others see photos
  5. Bushwacker fender flare fell off!

Dealer installed , Good point! I might ask them but I doubt they will fix for free….but maybe . I did not see any vhb tape used or in pictures of the kit.
  6. Bushwacker fender flare fell off!

The only place for VHB tape is under the rubber strip along edge and that is only a point contact . Are your the oem bushwaker ones?
  7. Bushwacker fender flare fell off!

Check out what happens to me yestetday , I posted on a different thread. https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/has-anyone-installed-flares-and-flaps.10680/post-187869
  8. Has anyone installed flares AND flaps?

BUT A FOLLOW UP!!!! Yesterday I was driving at about 60mph a few minutes after getting on the PA turnpike and I ran over a piece of trash on the highway! BUT later I discovered it was my front driver side fender flare falling off ???. The fender flares are just attached with metal clips to...
  9. Has anyone installed flares AND flaps?

I installed the larger rubber mud flaps with the Bronco lettering myself and it was easier than I initially thought once I figured out the mounting. I did this on 2022 and don’t remember having to cut anything. I also already had the fender flares on there installed by dealer from new . Rear...
  10. 1.5L Dragon Reliability

Good to know, it looks like the belt was in the lighter weight cheaper ford Fiesta a while ago, 2017? they would probably die from other issues before the belt craped out!
  11. 1.5L Dragon Reliability

Glad to hear it! glad to hear it’s not in our engines
  12. Trailer Hitch Cost

I might be wrong but I think on my BL it was $875 for tow hitch package which includes a full size spare and wiring. Also some electronic wizardry for anti-sway etc well worth it I think.
  13. 1.5L Dragon Reliability

Looks like the BS have chains see here https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/timing-belt-1-5l-replacement.9555/post-167611
  14. 1.5L Dragon Reliability

I thought this short video was interesting, it’s the 1.0L engine but do the 1.5l have the same belt drive design for the oil pump?
  15. Loving this car!

I figured the 1.5 l would be better mpg but I needed the 2.0 for towing #
  16. Loving this car!

Hi do you get such good mileage? Is it a 3 cyl engine ? My BL gets 24-26 max anywhere
  17. I have come to a conclusion....

Well the reason is you need to keep you eyes outside the vehicle and since you can’t tell for sure what gear you in by feel you never quite know. Example , quick 3 point turns are a thing of the past ……. It’s just me I guess
  18. I have come to a conclusion....

I agreed the rotary knob is quite clever, the Ford one find park if you shut off engine in D. But when backing up , doing 3 point turns etc when you can’t feel what gear ( f,n,d) it means you have to take your eyes of the road….. What do the guys do going off road who need to rock F-D to get...
  19. I have come to a conclusion....

I’m also happy with my badlands , what I do have issue with is the parts Ford decided it was ok to change or leave off my 2022 that were on the 2021 as designed! (engine top cover , hood ins blanket etc). I also hate the stupid rotary gear knob that you can’t tell what gear it’s in without...
