Another update. I can confirm this works as my parts are on their way should get them Friday. So, anyone looking to get parts or accessories and use your points without having to go through your dealer can do this.

So it looks like it may have worked as I received notice from the FordPass app that I redeemed points. Now just waiting for the shipping notification.

I tried it an it seems to have worked. I ordered the sun visor and rear deck appliqué. It let me choose pay with points and I had to put in my email address and vin. We will see what happens next.

I bought mine because it reminded me of my 2005 Escape and I loved that car. I decided to enhance the letters my way because that’s what I wanted. In the end it’s all about making it unique for you.

I’m sure anything is possible especially since the wires for the Tectico part are very thin. The pins were already on each end of the red wires and the kit came with the barrel connectors so that’s how I choose to do it.

Yes the pins were on the wires already when I got them. All I had to do was insert them into the correct holes.

Understandable question. It’s not that I’m opposed to them being on at night but they were marketed as DRL lights so I was hoping they could be on during the day. To be completely honest I would actually rather have had ones that were always Amber but could also blink with the turn signals. So...

Can you explain what purpose that would serve? Those side marker lights do not eliminate when the DRL lights are on, they are only on when the headlights are on resulting in the same thing as what I am seeing now.
