I have very little knowledge of lift kits, suspension kits, levelling kits etc. I understand lifting for improved ground clearance and ability to run larger diameter tires, which in turn also give you more ground clearance.
What confuses me with the Bronco Sport (I have a Badlands) is how...
Good point and of course it does. But my brief example was about a "perhaps normal" ownership of 100K. And when selling used vehicles with over 100K, 2000 miles one way or the other makes practically no difference in resale value.
Good points... food, gas, hotel. And don't forget that 2000 miles of driving. You are sacrificing part of the vehicle's life, and you can put a number on that, such as... Roughly... pick a life of 100,000 miles and a $40,000 vehicle price. So 2 percent 2000 miles) of that $40,000 is $800!
Back in May... shopping... considered ordering... found one that had just arrived at a dealer and the person who ordered it backed out. I jumped o the "no markup" deal! 2022 Badlands... Velocity Blue was not my preferred color... had a sun roof I did not need... no copilot 360+ that I wanted...
Yes... true here in Texas. However I still came out ahead when I sold my 2017 Golf GTi to Carmax and bought my Badlands from a local dealer. I came out ahead by about $1800. You just have to get a Carmax estimate then run the numbers. Good luck.
My Golf GTi had a sound enhancement system. It used an electronically controlled baffle at the top of the firewall ( just in front of the windshield) that pushed vibrations into the cab at the base of the windshield. I do not believe that it involved the sound system act all.
My 6 month old badlands has 6300 miles, mostly due to a very long trip out west which is highly unusual for me. We usually take my wife's car on long trips. I am considering getting the Ford warranty from Grainger Ford for only 5 years/60,000 miles, as I will likely trade the car before then...
Welcome to the club from way down in San Antone! I really wanted a cyber orange, but lucked into a great deal on this blue Badlands. YOU'RE GONNA LUV IT!
Sound... you want sound... my son is currently installing a lift on a used his 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee "WJ" he just bought. It is the overland edition with the "high Output" 4.7L v8. That engine sound is KILLER!
My guess... that feature works "behind the scene" by lifting the gain slightly WITHOUT any change to the volume level indicated by turning the volume control knob.
Congrats. I too was lucky and grabbed my Badlands at a dealer, I was just hours after the guy that ordered it backed out. Lucky me. And I also got it for only Ford’s sticker price.
Please give us a review of the park after your trip. I am in San Antonio and went to the Bronco Off-Rodeo very near there. The Hidden Falls Adventure Park is only 1.5 hours north of me. Be safe and have fun!
