Motorola MA 1 wireless dongle.

My wife just did a 10-day, 1,600-mile trip. MA-NJ-VA-OBX-VA-NJ-MA. Just under 28 mpg. Very pleased. Loves her BS BL. I've done a similar, 1,400-mile MA-OBX-MA trip twice in my '22 Escape. 33 and 32 mpg. Significantly better than the many trips in my '14 Escape.

We're using the Motorola MA 1 wireless dongle in both our vehicles. Been great so far. Comes up very quickly. Using VLC to get the music file from our phones.

Have you tried a system reset or master reset? SYNC reset procedure is in the owner's manual.

Congratulations. My wife ordered her BL without the sunroof. I ordered my FE without the panoramic roof. Didn't want something we never used on our previous Escapes. It's a $1,600 option on the Escape.

My Escape is at 11 months, 5,100 miles. 31% OLM. Will do it next month. Have an OBX trip coming up. Will probably be under 7k at the oil change. I expect miles on my wife's BS BL will be even less at 1 year.

It's a $1,600 option on an Escape. That's a fair percentage of the total price of a vehicle that stickers in the 30s! Didn't order it on my '22. Never used it on my '14. Added weight way up high, too. My wife didn't order it on her BL. Never used it on her '12 FE Limited Hybrid.

I would buy OBDLink EX and reset BMS myself for less than the dealer wants to charge I let the dealer replace the battery on my '14 several years ago because they quoted a great price. Receipt didn't state BMS was reset. So, I did it myself just to be sure.

I also lose the auto stop/start with a lot of in-town driving. Comes back with a little more longer drives.

Surprised to see hood insulation on my wife's '23 yesterday when I checked fluid levels before a trip. Wasn't expecting it. Don't have hood blanket or engine cover on my '22 Escape.

Bought the Motorola MA 1 for my wife's BS BL since we didn't get NAV. Liked it so much I bought one for my Escape. Had our music on USB flash drives. Bought 128 GB micro-SD cards for our phones so we can get our music with Android Auto. Also added TuneIn Radio to our phones. It has Jeopardy...
