When we bought our BS FE the dealership sold us a 10-yr / 100K~mi 3rd party extended warranty.
We weren’t informed of a genuine Ford extended warranty option. Caveat emptor. (They sell cars every day and know all the tricks. This was our 1st new Ford in 20-years.)
We’d love to be covered by a...
I love my Area 51 BS FE!
Mighty Malt will be 3-Yr old next week & has 34K miles. (Sadly the factory warranty will expire as well).
It’s traversed mountains, lakes, highways, and backroads in +100° and -0° environments.
Hopefully it’ll be my last automobile.
I should get a commission for all the...
I’ve been considering the redline struts myself but have never actually seen them; so take this with a grain of salt … I use a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive on many stickers for removal and follow with a generous amount of “Goo Gone.”
I can’t imagine the labels are actually glued-on.

I've never tried any of these but have been thinking about a similar project.
What about the stuff they paint on truck beds, like Rhino Lining?
Would PlastiDip work? Or would that scrape off when you loaded/unloaded gear?
I think Powder Coating would work well, but have heard it is expensive.
This is what I used to replace my pre-swollen nuts.

There's a thread in this forum that mentions the paint code. I think it's listed in this link: https://usa.specialistpaints.com/products/ford-carbonized-gray-paint-code-m7?variant=39789247004851
BTW, your fender inserts look good!
I considered Tetico Side Markers (with LED lights) to upgrade mine, but they only come in flat black ... and I prefer the 2-tone M7 Carbonized Grey + Black fender inserts on the BSFE
There are 3 distinct BS grilles.
The Base model grille has 2 rows of holes above the Black BRONCO lettering.
The Big Bend, Heritage, & Outer Banks share the 2nd grille style with one row of large holes above White BRONCO lettering (Heritage grille is White w/ Red lettering)
The Badlands...
I understand your frustration.
They only made 2,000 First Editions, so it's unlikely that Ford created a special grille.
$600 Replacement grills are Black with White lettering to match the Badlands.
The dealer/body shop paints it metallic Carbonized Grey, and paints the lettering Black.
