Thank you for the kind words.
I probably could/should have kept steady on the gas. Totally an experience thing for me. It was tall and I didn’t want to bottom out so I was a bit timid on the throttle.
That being said… there is no “crawl” gear. There is a rock crawl mode that changes throttle...
Went out with my middle kid, one of my sons, to see if we couldn't find Zip Zap this time. We found it for sure.
The trail runs under the long haul powerlines just north of Phoenix in the desert. It is..... let's say if you have teeth, you may have a few fewer after. It is Rock Garden...
Took me a month to trade mine. No tech package on the BL either. And I LOVE it even more than the OB.
I have nothing bad to say about the OB tho either.
Yeah. I found today that I am still squarely the limit. Not the Bronco. Found the Zip Zap this time (fun, but not fun…. Too much rock garden) and hit a couple spots I thought I had gotten myself in trouble. Argenis (my sport) said “hold my beer”.
I’m starting to think, if you can put rubber on...
my only damage was on the passenger side pan. Luckily my felt is still GTG. So far. Same basic setup it sounds. I’m looking forward to seeing this one come to fruition.
@JcrOffroad ill do you one better. Here are the install instructions for that bumper plate. It has snaps. Already worked as a “notification alarm” and kept my bumper in tact a couple times...
@Escape2Bronco got it right. I can get you some pics. On my badlands it shares the front 4 bolts of theOEM steel plate (I’m badlands). I already have the evap coverage in badlands, but the fuel lines for some reason ford decided cam just hang out down there.
Also liking the idea of that...
Awesome to see someone finally doing this! Quick couple of technical questions tho.
What are they made/going to be made of and what kind of clearance loss is there. It seems it may be significant.
And lastly, I run a front bumper skid already and it looks like that is still a “blank” on...
Thanks for the views! I’m learning :-). I’m tempted to delete the obviously waaaayyyyy thinking one. The first one I ever put up.
To answer your question, 245/65/17 and the HRG 1.25in on a badlands. Also the front skid from rallyinnovatiins. It has saved my bacon at least once.
So far, I am...
yeah. You know, I would probably never do that. But knowing I could do it is still something I like LOL. Never know if SHTF and you need to go places other than expected.
Exact decibel difference please… otherwise it doesn’t count hahaha. Just kidding.
I have the Yakima lock n load with perimeters already. I wonder if it would get louder than that if I added. Or if it is already there.
we get 30plus winds here too. Or more.
Yeah. If it was more about the content, and not just “sport sux”…. Then fine. But I look at it this way. It’s fun, it makes my daughter happy and honestly, why become unhappy just because they are.
It’s kinda like politics. Rude comments are usually from unhappy people.
Went out with my daughter and got to play with some higher speeds…. And a little mud.
Yes @Escape2Bronco, in Arizona LOL.
Hope you enjoy… we did…. Should have aired down a bit tho…. It was ROUGH!
