I’m in AZ and got Iconic Silver as well (same reason…. And wife likes it). It is the best with our dust color. Hardly shows unless you got it REALLY dirty.
all the rails are on now too. They weren’t in that picture. I just finished up.
no more stack of parts :-(. Low profile should cut back on wind noise a bit too.
I do a lot of research haha. They have a configuration tool on their site. Takes all the guesswork out of it. But not the elbow grease.
I did the work in stages. it comes completely disassembled.
the locks are a bit tight to get to on the slim shady, but it’s doable. The perimeter rails will...
I went Lock N Load….. tslots EVERYWHERE. Heck… I think the tslots have tslots.
I also went to a direct tower install with the SL adapters. Low Profile, reconfigures for anything and easy to mount things on and off.
finishing up the perimeter rails today.
did the slim shady too. Easy on and...
Yeah, supply and demand do what it do. You and I both snuck it in there.
5k I get, 10-15k? For a sport? Not so much.
I don’t grudge them the 5k. I talked with Jim in the custom parts to set it all up for mine. I can DM you.
Got mine done and five Falcon AT3W for a decent price. Including Equipment, labor and tax.
Got it done at San Tan Ford Customs. At the San Tan Ford dealer. Got my bronco sport there too for sticker in nov or dec. traded an OB for it.
Awesome scenery. I subscribed and look forward to seeing more.
just really getting started. Only got a couple so. But feel free to check them out. far.https://youtube.com/channel/UClhgrpo6mOBu1yxyIkID5IA
Isn’t the best video, but I’m not a real YouTuber. Not sure I am even real at all some days :).
The area is heavily used by mudders on the rare times it rains. It is both rougher and steeper than it looks. I ran it in Normal the whole way.
Badlands with HRG 1 1/4 lift and Falcon AT3W 245/65/17.
Finally got a chance to stitch the video we got at Table Mesa… for what it’s worth.
my iPhone just wouldn’t keep recording, and some of the video is a bit grainy.
hey… I’m not a YouTuber (yet haha).
the trail is heavily used for mudding and is both rougher and steeper than the video shows...
Sweet. I think awnings are a great addition.
I added the Yakima Slim Shady 6.5 to mine. I like the mounting brackets as they lock and are easy to take off/put on in < 5min.
clamps work on any crossbar from what I understand. They Come with an adapter for round crossbars.
fits solid on my lock...
Great tire. I’m on BL with 1 1/4 lift with mine.
what pressure are you running? Mine came back from the dealer at around 35-38psi cold.
on the forum and various places I see mixed messages about what it means to psi when going up in size.
Finally done (for now until wife lets me have another budget).
between last Wednesday to finalized today:
HRG 1.25 lift
Falcon Wildpeak 245/65/17
Rough Country Fender Flares
Yakima Lock n Load
Yakima Slim Shady
Still working on stitching some of that vid together. Time time time.
but I did find time at lunch to add my flares from rough country. Totally changes the look
So all the fun stuff came in today…. I got projects. I will update with new photos once it’s all bolted on.
however, in the meantime, I took my girl down Table Mesa “road” about 10mi (my first real trail experience). Here are photos of where we turned. My phone kept killing the camera, but it...
Mine is badlands, so I am relegated to 1.25in. However, it already has the 1’ from factory.
as for the impact to getting in? For me, it’s noticeable but not bad. I’m 5/11 and the seat is right at standing butt height. So I can slide right in.
my wife however, is Filipina and a bit on the...
I did get a step LOL. For once I add the Lock n Load. (It comes tomorrow, front armor today).
