It is kind of a loud alarm, especially early in the morning. For those installed an air horn itād be even more of an issue.
maybe the key fob should have a notification feature
or play a Christmas tune :)
yes, watched the video, some of those steps seems require more clearance than a stock BS BL.
the Dry Creek Trail to Devil's Bridge seems more manageable...will we get over the gate keeper without scrapping??
as they have described, once the wheel goes over the rock and drop down the other...
i found the route on the map. looks like you had to have gone around a canyon to get to the spot. interesting....what is that canyon is like??? need to do some research
thanks!!
CVT sounded so promising initially but really did not worked out for certain application.
I had to look up the baby LC....it's an EV! guess it won't have the CVT issue if it only has one gear :)
that is a pretty cool place!
seems like you must come down "edge of the world" trail from Flagstaff about 20 miles. too bad it doesn't seems to be a way from the 89 hwy
we'll see...I may not have time for this but will definitely put it on the list
thanks for the info. I think the Soldier Pass 4x4 road definetly is too much for a stock BS. The Devil's bridge is a maybe. probably best is to just hike on the trails. one of the blog mentioned starting from a different point sounds like a good suggestion.
it is been over 20 years since...
Taking a trip to Sedona in the holidaysā¦.Iāve found some thread about the Outlaw trail, but no information about if an BS can make it thru Soldiers Pass to see the Seven Sacred Pools ? It sounded like that is for a vehicle with much more clearance.
the other trail that is popular is to see...
wow, phone apps has come a long way. it nearly removed everything without trace. and you brought up the shadow area. nicely done.
yeah, those guys got there before I do. so best I can do was to make them part of the photo. or I moved to the left and crop them out
the software are all so...
that is looking very inviting...I'm sure you couldn't help yourself to have some fresh tracks.
we are bone dry so far this year in So Cal. Not much snow yet on the mtns. maybe we have to wait 'til February ....so we keep enjoy that sunshine. and most probably have not noticed....winter...
got a chance to drive into Fish Creek Wash and did a short hike up to see the wind caves. I did not go into Sandstone Cyn. so i never got to that narrow rocky part. will save that for next time
Certainly subject to different perspectives and opinions.
my ā22 BS is almost 15 months old and has 13k+ miles. All weekends/road trips miles. I have two other cars I can drive. They all serve different purposes. No doubt a luxury car like MB will have a different feel. Like others here...

C6 has their new roof platform now.
this is interesting...over an year ago I asked them I'm thinking using their platform as a roof basket to carry stuff (when not used to carry the tent). they told me they are...
that's awesome! this BS seems to have a little lift or just the bigger tires. it barely clear that rock....oh, i watched it again with sound...it had some scrapping

c6 sells their rooftop Tent just the platform only. You will still need a crossbar which many brands are available⦠Thuleā¦...
great pics and looks like a lot of fun....I should of have tag along.
did everyone made it thru that narrow chute (shown on the video)? I have not been in Fish Canyon for probably 30 years. by watching other videos, it looks like that is one spot I'm not so sure about taking a stock BS thru.
that's right, I read about this as well.
basically they can program it to drive like a race car or a Miata. some hydraulics in the clutch to control it to make it stiff or soft...short or long travel...the shifter can be program to make it hard to shift or smooth like butter. dump the clutch...
