Don't remove the hair until after the insurance adjuster has had an opportunity to inspect the damage. I don't know about other insurance companies, but GEICO doesn't raise rates due to animal collision. The hair helps to prove you collided with a critter.
Check out Hapo fishing rod holder on Amazon. It holds 4 rods and hangs behind the front seat. I looked at all different types of rod holders and didn't like them hanging down from the top. This one has been the perfect solution.

I've seen ads for various products that project on the windshield. Rather than being a convenience, I think they would be distracting while driving. Especially at night. Just my opinion.
One of the first additions that I added to my BS is the AVS Aeroskin Bug Defector. Supposed to also help with small pebbles. Don't know it it works but it's been six months and so far no chips.
Figured out I've had 17 cars since my college days and my Bronco Sport Big Bend is the most fun car I have ever owned. Only had one car with a moon roof and I never used it. Too cold in winter and too hot in summer. I did have a 55 Olds Super 88 convertible while in college. Definitely a chick...

Considering that I open the rear tailgate hatch almost every day, it would seem like too much of a hassle. Also negates use of backup camera and requires movement of license plate. Looks cool but impractical.
Just curious. The rear lights on a car are meant to alert cars behind you that you're braking and/or turning. The backup lights provide illumination when in reverse. The current incandescent lights seem quite adequate to accomplish those tasks. Why go to the trouble and expense of changing them?
Rather than going to all that trouble, get a pair of polarized clip-on sunglasses. Polarized lenses block reflected light. Fishermen use them all the time so they can more easily see through the reflection on water.
