Count me in the camp of get the new BB. In my opinion 2 owners in a short time is a red flag. If it was a BL with a 2.0 that might sway me. But getting a loaded BB with a full warranty and the peace of mind that comes from knowing you are the only one who has cared for it means the world to me...
I would like a Black Appearance Package, like they have for F-150s. I think the Sport's color options are pretty diverse, but it would help if they allowed for different packages such as the BAP to provide some contrast. I could see a BAP with black wheels, black lettering and a shadow black...
Before picking up my BB, I wasn't very impressed with photos of the BB stock 17" wheels. However, after getting the BB and seeing that CG wheels on the Iconic Silver, I actually really liked them. It kinda made me wonder what everyone else's thoughts were about the various wheel options on the...
Made it home with the Silver BB! Drive from Granger to Dallas was pretty easy. Hit a bad headwind through Missouri, but that ended and the BS mpg went up. I was only averaging about 25 mpg through Joplin and I was up to 29.3 by the end.
I was at Granger for about 20 minutes.
Man, there are all kinds of reports as to the weight of these tires. DT reports the 235/65/17 as 30.97 lbs. TireSize.com says 36 lbs. BFG's own site has the 235/65/17 in two different ratings 104H and 108T (XL). Honestly, I didn't know about the 104H (presumably SL) tire, but that is listed at...
I just drove from Anaheim to Dallas about 8 days before you took this journey. I can attest that the Western US in Spring has tremendous wind out of the west that easily gives you a 3-4 mpg bump. I know this because I got about 6 mpg worse driving from Dallas to Anaheim 6 days prior going...
I run KO2s on my F150 and I love them. I just ordered the 235/65/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W for my BSBB because of the weight of the KO2s. The 235 Falkens only weigh 31 lbs. The 245 KO2s weight 44 lbs. Pretty big difference. I would say that the 235 Falkens are not as aggressive as the BFG because...
So I'm set to fly up to Des Moines on Friday morning. Shelby told me that I should be on the road within 15-30 minutes back to Dallas. Already set my appointment at Discount Tire to get the worthless Contis taken off and replaced with Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws Saturday morning - gonna put the trip...
Shelby has been great on the business side and the deal is done. Due to my schedule, April 7th is the delivery day and I will sign the paperwork electronically on the 3rd so my payment won't be due a week after I pick it up. Literally the easiest thing ever.
Well, the Sport has arrived at Granger! The arrival window was 3/15 to 3/23 and it got there on the 15th.
Another advantage I noticed for going with Granger when you live in the South: you get a free PTC heater on your Sport. They don't install those on Sports with destinations in warmer...
Since I ordered a short time ago, multiple MY 22s have been reduced to a price that would have kept me local. I based my Granger order on the climate that has been present for the past 2 years, where dealers like Granger that offer below invoice on orders were saving folks thousands. The...
Well, it appears that Hermosillo is trucking right along. Changed to "shipped" today, still showing arrival at Granger between 3/15 and 3/21. This is way faster than I expected.
My BB was moved to "Built" today. Claims that the arrival window at Granger is March 15-March 21st, which sounds insane. If that's true, they are basically building BBs from order to delivery in 10 weeks. Now, I have seen the torment that comes with the shipping issues, I know what might lurk...
I got moved to "In Production" on 2/16 and the window sticker has populated. Looks like the folks that ordered at the turn of the year are getting built on time.
