I have always said that Ford's biggest obstacle is with their Dealer Customer Service. Lost sales due to bad experiences, so much could easily be done differently and the profit gains would be substantial.

I take that back....they are ceramic (see the fine print). The O'Reillys guy said ceramic was not available....got more than I expected!! LOL

Have you tried turning off the lane assist (switch on the end of the turnsignal)?

With the rear brakes in service mode and the e-brake connector disconnected, do you really need to remove the e-brake motor to screw the piston back in?

I got "rocked" and it cracked the windshield big time. My insurance company contacted Safelite, they came right out and fixed everything including the reprogramming for zero out of pocket. (Check your policies!) I was expecting some off brand glass but Safelite used the Ford!

Maybe the Dealership forgot to reset the battery/system after replacement. You can do that yourself.

Have the exact same issue on mine. Started after the fuel injector recall work and water pump replacement. Sounds like the air box is loose but I haven't tracked it down. Every time I get the noise, by the time I open the hood its gone.

Rural King and Walmart were some of the best prices I found. RK didn't have it in stock but my local Wallyworld did. Nearly $90 cheaper than auto stores.

Since you called me out....firstly, I miss-spoke, it was the booster issue (as you pointed out) not the master cylinder. I know more about what happens behind the scenes than I care to admit - but I am in no way speaking on behalf of Ford. The real issue is the component suppliers and...
