Yeah, that is pretty much it. Pretty sad that a brand new vehicle sounds like it is 30 years old. I will definitely stay away from Motorcraft brakes when it comes time to replace them.

I wouldn't say so much of a moaning noise but more of a loud growl when the brake pedal is applied (sounds like something is dry) and pretty much only when the brakes are cold, like when I first pull vehicle out of the garage in the morning......and again, my 25 year old car doesn't make these...

yes it does...quite annoying for a brand new vehicle. then again, the front brakes suck too, the front brakes make more groaning noises that my 25 year old Vette.
