What do you clean your pillars with?In the mist of everything we are installing on our Bronco Sports, we cannot forget to make sure they're clean. A full, top down wash, detail, etc today in the Texas 105+ heat! I'm drained!

I'm in the middle of polishing them (soon), because I think they could use a touch-up, but here's my current process. 2 bucket method with a high quality PH balanced soap, and once dry, I top off the pilars with some sort of spray topper. Here's the four I currently own and all of them expect for the last one can be ordered from Amazon.
- P&S Bead Maker Paint Sealant (2nd place)

- Obsessed Garage Drying Aid (1st place)
So you just spray on your 1st place sprayer for instance do you dry it fully first or spray that on while the water is still on there and you're doing a dry with that on there as well as the dry of the water?
Also I've been using Adam's products for so long what is your go-to soap for washing?
I've gone back and forth with different methods and here's what I found that works best for me, especially in the TX heat bubble I live in.
STEP 1: 2 bucket wash using a combo of these soaps. Adams Car Wash Shampoo + DIY Detail Incredible Suds T2 (approx. 1 ounce+ for each product). Note, for wheels, I use the same soap, but before I start, I spray each wheel with water to knock off any road grime and then spray on P&S Brake Buster to break everything up (honestly the best wheel cleaner ever). I have 1 pint bottle, a gallon, and a 5 gallon too.
STEP 2: After my contact wash, I dry everything immediately (I recommend The Rag Company microfibers) and pull the Bronco into the garage and dry off any remaining water and let it sit to cool off a bit. During this time, I examine the SUV to see where any possible water spots formed; hard water TX thing, ugh, however they very easily removed with the spray toppers I use.
STEP 3: I start my spray topper once everything is dry, including on the glass, but do this part last. The reason for my spray topper on a dry vehicle is simply because I don't have the option to wash in the garage and yes I have shade from 6am - 7:30am and then again about 6pm, but the paint still gets hot. Once I'm done, the Bronco is without a doubt clean and spot-free.
By using this method, which yes takes less than hour more to fully clean, I think everything stays cleaner longer. Maybe its just me, but I'm a bit OCD and have been hand washing my vehicles since I was 16 years old.
Thanks for this. Mine get so streaky with swirls. And what’s your go-to glass cleaner? I have very hard well water, and I get hard to remove water spots in an instant.

Another solution… Swirls completely eliminated forever with good quality Paint Protection Film (PPF) applied over the black piano plastic, don’t even need to remove swirls before the PPF is applied
You're welcome and no problem. Glass cleaner...easiest answer, because I've used them all and Invisible Glass (liquid form) is the best and I'll never change. To clean glass, you can try to the two towel microfiber method. Basically one to wipe/clean and the other to buff off anything that's excess. A few microfiber waffle weave towels will help immensely too.

I recently bought some of the double sided Griots Crinkle Glass towels. So far they’ve worked great.
I also started washing all my micro fiber car wash towels on their own using some microfiber detergent. I think the big thing with this is they don’t pickup lint from standard towels and rags and the dedicated detergent doesn’t have any softener that leads to greasy streaks.

That's absolutely perfect and is how I was all my microfiber towels as well. I use P&S Rags To Riches to wash my microfibers.
1 ounce for light loads and basically 2 ounces for everything else. When I wash my microfibers, it may sound silly, but I try not to mix for instance my drying towels with something that a chemical was used for the others or it picked a lot of dirt. Personally, the more I can keep anything off the drying towels the better. Also, when washing, use the normal cycle and use the delicate for drying them, otherwise hot heat overtime will destroy the makeup of a microfiber towel. If the first round of delicate drying doesn't get them fully dry, put them back in using the same drying delicate cycle.
