Has anyone tried cleaning out their Bronco Sport 1.5L oil seperator and then reinstall? From what I am reading the seperator is not serviceable, just replace when it gets clogged/gunked up.

No I don't. I just have a bit of a lag and found some oil toward the back of the engine. The seperator is easily accessible and just considering a clogged/stuck pcv.

When you say “back of engine”, are you pointing to the driver’s side or the firewall side (left side of the engine)?
If you are pointing to the driver’s side where the transmission is, there will often be transmission fluid vapor output showing up on the top of the transmission.

Actually both. Makes sense on the driver side with the transmission. Picture attached. It was worse than the pic showed but I cleaned it.
Fluid is also on the passenger side which could also be the water pump?, I have had two replaced already, but it is near the pcv valve hose so I was just looking at possibilities. I am definitely no expert.
