Sometimes you have to fish or cut bait, throw the baby out with the bathwater, turn over a new leaf, wipe the slate clean, go back to the drawing board, break the mold, tear down the walls and rebuild from the foundation up. I’ve been in Product Design and Systems a long time, and I’ve learned that starting from a blank sheet of paper can be one of the healthiest things an organization can do. You can’t keep putting lipstick on a pig or tinkering around the edges and expect different results. Ford needs to break old habits, think outside the box, and write a new playbook.
And this one:
Ford needs to stop rearranging the deck chairs and start charting a new course.
Or:
Incremental fixes, sacred cows, and business as usual can only take you so far. Ford needs to challenge its assumptions, break from legacy thinking, and build for the future rather than continue patching the past.
how about those euphemisms and I think during my career I’ve heard them all
