Major issues with my 2021 bronco sport

Hi all! New here.

I am frustrated so I figured I'd bring my problems here to see if anyone is having the same issues I'm having.

I got my bronco sport in 2024 right after a car accident as my car was a total loss. Fell in love with the bronco on a lot and bought it.

I have a gold certified warranty, btw.

Fast forward to last year where my bronco started making this awful nose when I'd turn my wheel to the right or left. Come to find out, it was the rear end and was replaced under warranty. Also, transmission needed to be replaced as it was "shuttering" at low idle speeds. Fast forwarding again, got my car back and now my car will "slam" or "jerk" so bad that it feels like I'm being rear ended and will put me back into the back seat it feels like. So I take it back to the dealer I want to say at least 6 times since and they can't duplicate it.

I now have a major oil leak and I'm very very frustrated. My bronco has 94,000 miles (I drive 65 miles everyday for work) and my warranty is 8 yr / 125,000 mile.

Has anyone else had these exact issues with their 2021?

I don't but I have to say that frustration like this is not uncommon. In my head I'd be screaming "how the hell can they not duplicate this".

Major oil leak as that it is leaking about a saucer plate sized spot after parking so I assume it's not major and I over exaggerated a bit but this just started Saturday. Oil level is good, checked yesterday but I've hardly driven this weekend.

Now the "slamming and jerking" will happen at any moment with no warnings. My transmission will slip between 2nd and 3rd gear as well when taking off from a stop and again, not all the time just randomly.

I have an appointment Thursday to drop off my vehicle for warranty work. Hopefully it "duplicates" the transmission issues I have.

I'm a retired auto mechanic it sounds possible the oil leak was transmission fluid which explains the issues going on.

It's coming from the front and is amber brown. I don't think it's the rear end fluid but I could be wrong.

The transmission is located in front also possibly cooling lines from the transmission leaking.

You worded everything great! It was me that got it mixed up with the rear end. I replied while busy at work and got side tracked. Lol

FYI

With the ULV (ultra low viscosity) transmission fluid used in the 8F35 transmission, there is a known issue with torque converter shudder.
