Great to see the Bronco Sport continuing to grow in popularity — it’s an incredibly capable vehicle, and the right roof rack can make a big difference in how you use it. The TrailRax Bronco Sport modular roof rack and Pak Rax kit are back in stock for all trims.
SHOP HERE

When choosing a setup, it’s worth thinking beyond basic load bars and a basket. While they can work for light, occasional use, they often add unnecessary height and have limited functionality. In most cases, you’ll quickly run into constraints — rooftop tents and awnings aren’t an option, strapping down gear can be difficult, and hauling your hobbies such as ski or kayak racks becomes less straightforward.

If you want your rack system to match the versatility and strength of your Bronco Sport, it’s important to choose a solution that’s built for more than just appearance. A well-designed roof rack opens up far more possibilities, from overlanding setups to everyday hauling, without the compromises.

You just invested in a new vehicle — it makes sense to equip it with gear that’s designed to perform, fit properly, and grow with how you plan to use it.

Looks like the Hooke Road roof rack I have on my Bronco.

Really, really nice.

But, wow, quite a bit more expensive than the Hooke Road Bronco rack.

I'll be giving this some thought as it's gonna take me some time to save up enough pennies to buy....

Does this rack allow you to open up the sun roof?

Obviously I'm not too concerned about needing to, the use case would be rare, but I don't like the idea of having a sunroof and not being able to use it along with the paranoia of someone else pressing the button and shattering the glass.

Yes, you can open the sunroof with the rack installed!

The Hooke rack is not compatible with the Bronco Sport. Also, our rack is made in the USA, so you are going to get the quality you pay for.

I assume you meant to say the Bronco (or full size bronco) and not the the Bronco Sport.

No. The Hooke roof rack is NOT compatible with the Bronco Sport.

The TrailRax Bronco Sport roof rack is designed with only the Bronco Sport in mind. It’s simple bolt-on install, lightweight, and built to handle up to 700 lbs static load. But what really sets it apart is the modular design. Move cross members in seconds, slide in hardware without taking anything apart, and use the 90° side panel bend for full 360° mounting flexibility.

Yes, I understand that. Just making a comparison that your rack for the Bronco Sport looks similar to the Hooke Road rack I have on my Bronco.

I’m super pleased with my Bronco’s roof rack so I was complimenting your Bronco Sport rack. Would like to purchase it, in fact. Just trying to figure out how to afford it.

Apologies, misinterpreted your response. Do you own both a Bronco and Bronco Sport?

We’ve had a few people ask about rooftop tent and awning recommendations to go with our roof rack, so we wanted to share here as well.
If you’re overwhelmed with finding the right setup for you, feel free to submit a build consultation request and then one of our experts will reach out and help you find the best option in your budget. There are a lot of choices out there, and we’re here to help you dial it in:like:
