Any idea why the viscosity is a bit low?

Without knowing what standard they use for measured vs expected viscosity, it’s anyone’s guess.

Given both samples were below expected at 1K miles and 4K miles of use respectively, I think their standard is based on a higher viscosity oil to start with, like a 10W-30.
