Sync 3 not working/screen freezing.

Has anyone experienced the Sync 3 screen on a 2024 OBX FREEZING and if so how to unfreeze it?

You can try a Reset the SYNC system (press and hold power/volume and fast forward [>>|] buttons until the system restarts).

What Build version of SYNC 3.4 do you have installed?

On the center screen (if it isn't currently frozen):
Tap SETTINGS
Swipe left or right to General
Tap General
Scroll down to About SYNC
Tap About SYNC

That may be a temporary fix .., see the earlier post to obtain your Sync 3.4.xxxxx version and if you post that version here you may get additional help

See the prior post for the instructions… 3.4 is the base all the ‘21-‘24s have.. post the xxxxx portion (Sync 3:4.xxxxx) if u are interested in a possible better solution

You do have the latest Sync… you can also check if there are any outstanding Sync software related recalls applicable to your VIN (which did impact some owners that had SYNC 3.4 23188) - there’s a chance you may have an outstanding recall needed

If you do get the freeze etc issues again it could be the APIM (module) which would be replaceable under your 3yr 36k factory warranty if it’s still in effect.
