Anyone buy a hail sale vehicle?

Considering. A 2025 BS BL in a hail sale. Anyone purchase a vehicle in one of those? What would I ask and look for? What other things should I consider?

I had one years ago. It was a black car and all of the dents were removed by paintless repair. You could not tell it had ever been damaged.

I have not but years ago a friend of mine bought a Ford Focus brand new for extra cheap, it was hail damaged in transit. The Focus white and looked like it was hit all over with a ball pein hammer.
It had all the things you get with a new car, just heavily discounted.

I currently have a 21 badlands in Area 51 blue that has significant hail damage. Most of it is on the hood of the car few other spots. I thought I would care more but I’m used to it. Honestly haven’t even looked into getting it fixed. I got my car for $9500 cheaper than similar badlands were going for at the time so I figure it’s a win.

So I would just look into how that's going to work with the insurance first and double check with your insurance.But if it's just cosmetic, I probably would cuz, I don't care about that stuff, but definitely check with your insurance.And if there's anything else weird about it first, like with the title and stuff

Mythbusters made a dimpled Ford Taurus and it showed a mpg improvement by 4mpg. The episode and the science was quire fascinating.
