Both rear shocks leaking at 39,000 miles or less. Discovered at regular oil change. Ford Warranty would have covered them up to 36,000. Never off hard pavement. Been driving for 52 years without one bad shock! Anyone else? I know the other models will have a recall.

I have roughly the same mileage as you, my Badlands is a 2021. At my last service just a couple of months ago I was told my rear shocks were leaking. I still have not verified if they are leaking or not. On a side note besides OEM there are not many choices for replacement, it's either Rough Country or Bilstein, though Rockauto offers some off brand that's very inexpensive with hit or miss reviews.

Yikes that’s low mileage for shocks to go. Haven’t heard much about Rough Country shocks but Bilstein would be a good upgrade.

Have you tried calling Ford directly about it? I’ve heard sometimes they will still cover things if you’re just out of warranty.

I had an F-150 that had a leaky rear shock but it was still under Warranty and was replaced with no problems. But i guess You do get some bad ones that's why You have a Warranty but it sucks You're over the mileage You have a 5 Year/60,000 Powertrain Warranty or 3 Year/36,000 Bumper/Bumper is that what the shocks fall under?

We had purchased an extended warranty which covered $410 of the $510 bill to replace the shocks. Now we have a worn sway bar at 40,000 miles that was diagnosed today. After we took it in to figure out where the rattling was coming from. Service tech said he hadn't seen that with such low miles on a Bronco. Losing my faith in this Ford Product.

You had to Pay $410.00 to replace the shocks? That seems like a lot of money maybe You could have bought aftermarket shocks for cheaper than that and changed them Yourself.

35,250 miles. Ford dealer service advisor indicated that front brakes needed to be replaced and that rear shocks were leaking. Brake service covered under maintenance package. Estimate to replace shocks $547.00.
