Version 5.22.0:

• Hyperlink out of the app which does not auto populate the VIN number or login to account. I guess that is innovation.

Version 5.21.0:

• Control center buttons work, but not easily discernible from other buttons. At least with shortcuts, you can see which app and vehicle.

1. For me, I have a shortcut which copies my VIN # to the clipboard so I can paste the VIN into the FordPass App screen to view the Owner’s Manual. However, given that the FordPass App does not remember the VIN and auto-populate so that VIN is remembered after exiting the FordPass App, the Owners Manual feature in this FordPass App update is not very useful.

What is odd is FordPass App already knows the VIN, I entered the VIN on the Vehicle Details screen so the new Owners Manual should auto-populate the VIN.

I’ve only had to login once to the FordPass App so for me I do not need to login each time I use the FordPass App.

I give the FordPass App a score of 0 for the new feature to view the Owners Manual. I keep links to the Owners Manuals in a Folder which works for me.

2. You are correct that FordPass App buttons in the iPhone Control Center are not discernible from other Control Center buttons but then many of the buttons require memorization - quite a few have an identifying shape like the flashlight etc but others are non-obvious.

I memorized the lock and unlock symbols are the FordPass App buttons in the Control Center but would prefer better usability for the Control Center buttons in general. I’m not a fan of a cluttered Control Center so I plan to reduce the number displayed.

And I agree with your use of shortcuts in the Control Center, however one downside is the Control Center buttons become larger taking up more Control Center real estate.

3. Siri integration with FordPass App is working for me. My iPhone 15 Pro is on iOS 26 Developer Beta 2.

Are you saying one of these items to Siri?

Siri integration with FordPass App:

My iPhone 15 Pro is on iOS 26 Developer Beta 2

When I say to Siri one of the 3 FordPass App commands, I’ll see a notification like this: “OK, FordPass is processing your request.” (Might flash up quickly)

And in the case of saying “Siri, Lock Vehicle”, when that is done I’ll see the notification:

Locked
