New Mods to the Badlands!!

Looks great. Where’d you get all those sweet copper mods?

all my upgrades were fairly reasonably priced, I imagine the cost would be in the labor, should you choose that route… But I suggest give it a go!!

Lets see your light switch install and how was it done

1. I ran the LED light wire underneath the drivers window panel down and into the engine battery (see pictures A,B,C).

2. I ran the switch wire thru the firewall behind the battery… taking the battery out was complete sh&@! Terrible design… but anyways… I threaded the wire through the firewall and into the cabin.

3. I ran the switch wire (my harness came with a switch) to the position I wanted to install the switch. I purchased a housing ($5) to put the switch into when installing. (Picture D). I have some clean up to do around the switch but other then that it works excellent.

Imo these guys have the best dips money can buy… they also have a bunch of ‘how to’ vids out there. I used a base of black plasti dip first, then used the burnt copper linked above. It’s an easy process but take your time!

Great Forum… can learn anything on here! Just finished (are we ever finished) a few mods and thought i would share a few I completed… some mods are for no other reason then it’s personal and ‘I’ like it, so wanted to try it out, so try not to scratch your head too much if you don’t get it lol…. Anyways
-tinted front windows and gave her an eyebrow
-tinted front and rear lenses
-pulled off front end and hooked in 16 amber front grille lights -no practicality, just for fun!
-installed a light bar with switch
-switched out a ford badge for a badlands badge
-copper coloured overlays for the bronco and bronco sport
-installed a amber/white signal light on the front and side doors.
-installed new rims and copper dipped the rims
-added a rear hook (copper dipped) and front hooks (copper dipped)
-copper vinyl the gas tank door.
-sprayed my storage rack copper
-installed a broken Canadian flag across the front hood (matte black)
-installed a centre console tray
-installed ‘orange’ covers for the 7 knobs on the front dash.

anyways, like I said that’s mods may not be for some, but I enjoy trying different things out (and testing the law… as I’m sure a few will mention! )

A few have mentioned the possibility of installing side marker lights, others have done it but I thought I’d send a look at my finished product… fairly easy to install, just make sure you use the proper tools to remove the old markers… they can be difficult to remove.

Pretty easy to install. I managed to do it with little experience and a cheap set trim remover kit I had laying around. Had the DZG one installed for a couple months now and its worked well. I posted a (pretty bad) video on how to install it. If anything its good for telling you which wires connect to which and what tools I used. Car looks great I love the orange/amber on black look.

Did you remove the inside A-pillar and the 2 screws to run the cable? About to get a 40" for the roof and not sure if I want to buy the KC wire kit as I think it looks too bulky by the windshield.
