All what you said may be true but our 14' Honda CRV went 257,000 miles with nothing but routine maintenance, tires and a battery. We traded it in for the BS. It's still running just down the road for us. No way our Bronco will come close. We will probably get rid of it sooner than later...
I believe I asked the tech the last time it was in about the battery and he said it was an AGM. I don’t have
It here to look at. We bought the car new in August 2023. Will be checking!
This vehicle is driven daily about 40 miles
minimum.
Bronco going in tomorrow. Tech says he can see it...
Today my wife got a "Pre-collision Alert Not Available" message as she backed out of the driveway. She thought it might have to do with road film on the camera and headed to the car wash. While driving to the car wash the "Powertrain malfunction/reduced power message" flashed up. Also turn...
I did ask the tech last week if the coolant system was being flushed each time they replaced the water pump? Yes it is. Our Bronco was being checked over after a “Shift Fault” message popped up 3 times on one 165 mile drive. Turns out it was a software update issue. He was going to charge me...
No lift kit. Sway bar was replaced..
We bought it new in August 2023. I will take a look. I’ve read a loose battery cable or weak battery can cause those messages.
47,000 miles on our 23’ BS Badlands and a “Shift System Fault” message came up 3 times after about 140 into a 165
Mile trip for my wife this week. “Service
immediately “ also popped up. I immediately looked at my Alerts and it didn’t show up! I called our service dept. and he could not locate...
Our 23 was making a creaking sound going over bumps and slow turns. Turned out to be a bad sway bar (bushing?) covered by our extended warranty at 37,000 miles.
I’ll keep the Forum posted!
The vehicle never leaves the highway, so no, we haven't done anything to damage it. The mechanic couldn't explain it either.
