Might be worth looking into the diff breather heights. They may be the limiting factor in fording depth, which would make a snorkel mostly irrelevant for all but aesthetic value and dusty days. Not knocking the aesthetic angle... could look cool as hell if it's done right.

Which trim level do you have? There's two basic approaches I've seen here, but it's based on whether you have the 1.5L or the 2.0L A user called WindsOfChange has an ongoing thread about armoring his BL.
