With the ULV (ultra low viscosity) transmission fluid used in the 8F35 transmission, there is a known issue with torque converter shudder.

My 21 OB has been getting close to 60,000 miles on Michelin Primacy A/S OEM tires.
I now have over 184,000 miles total.
I am very confused with what you are saying. If you firmly press on the accelerator pedal the transmission will downshift to a lower gear to allow the engine to perform at a higher RPM. The transmission is an 8 speed unit. It is irrelevant if higher gears are “overdrive” or not.
