One of mine broke off this weekend. I don’t normally open the glass so it was a bit surprising. It appears that they are just soldered on to the connection at the window. Has anyone resoldered them on and if so did you take the back glass off to make it easier to do?
I bought and installed these on my 2022 Badlands. Install was easy with minimal drilling.

Also you can get Bucked by a Jeep owner, which is what I think happened to me as there was a Jeep next to me when I went into the restaurant. Jeep owners give other Jeep owners ducks and it’s called Ducking.

Yes the install was failry easy and I did have to drop the exhust as the videos show. It helps to have 2 people and take your time on the "cutting" of the fascia. I ended up taking multiple passes just so I didnt make too big of a hole the first time. I havent yet used it for towing or...
Mine was a dealer installed item and the only thing added to the vehicle. I personally like the fact that I have it, to many people on the road today are not paying attention as it is and if my flashing light grabs their attention then I say its a plus. On the subject of drivers its apparent...
I installed the Curt one on mine, still had to notch the fascia and no support bars show, looks sort of "factory" I will try and find a picture of what it looks like. I choose the Curt because the install looked easier than the Ford one, at least the videos I watched.
Now that’s a cool, no pun intended, cooler. If money was no object I think I would have to get one just to see if it works. Plus it has its own direct solar input. Awesome.
Thanks everyone for the tips, tricks, and suggestions. I think I will start small, both in terms of camping length and cooler type using the above suggestions.
