I notice a difference between the 2021 and the 2023, all vehicles have good and bad. The 23 has an annoying squeak in the rear right sail panel up and behind the rear right passenger. Not all the time and we have off roaded this a lot less than the 21 but we do live on a bumpy dirt road...
36 years in the army as a tank mechanic and recovery specialist, you think that line is dangerous, try recovering a 45ton leopard tank stuck turret depth (add 1/2 again) so 67.5 ton on a 2" line! I'd go hatches down for ones like that! LOL!!
LOL, had one of those in the army, back in the 80's. Tried using it a couple times but it is so slow and cumbersome. Not a fan at all.
I'll fab up something...
Yes, on my youtube channel "Low Range in Nova Scotia"
This was last year with our new BS "Daisy" which wasn't on bigger tires or lifted like our 2021 BS named "Baby" that was in the last video. (wrote the 2021 off on black ice)
Tried the search feature and couldn't get anything. Anyone running a winch? Looking for mounting idea's. Pretty sure I'll end up fabricating a winch plate system to go in the reese hitch, just wondering if anyone has done it yet/pictures.
Thanks.
I read the whole thread and haven't seen anything bigger than 265/65/17. So, my question is, is anyone working on anything to fix it? "Certain off set rims allow 31's" or "lower control arms with lower ball joint moved 1" forward allowing a bigger tire" type of stuff?
Or is this it, this is the...
Saw a question which brought me back here and I saw I never uploaded the video. Didn't get as far as the 2021 BS we had named "baby" went because this one doesn't have the lift kit yet or the off road tires.(TIRES ARE TOO SMALL!) Worse than that, the traction control was on and since it is...
Ok, finally got it done. Lost the sound for a bit and the problem with the smoking 6 cyl f150 is that the fuel line got flattened on a rock and it kept "running out of fuel"...and it jumped out of 4x4 and reverse, lol. 15 years of beating on it and still going!
We on the other hand, tried to...
Well, I might as well add my 2 cents. Had a 2021 that we lifted and put skidplates, etc on and wheeled everywhere and places we shouldn't of. Zero issues up to the 30,000 or so mark where I wrote it off in an accident. Now we have a 2023 identical badlands and 10 or so thousand and zero problems...
And my next video has some "big trucks" in it. Tried to go where our 2021 badlands with 2" lift and bigger aggressive tires went with the 2023. Didn't fare out so well! LOL!
Here's a couple of "teaser" pics
Thanks for the replies guys!
As for the front skid plate, it's from HRG.
Went for a drive on the trails last night...well, yesterday, but the wife did a "let's go up there" which ended in a bellied out situation.....three hours later of me digging, we were on our way! Not sure if there is...
Well, I got on Raff's youtube channel and having been binge watching since!! Boy does he put the sport through stuff!!
I got another video being edited right now, see if I can post a quick clip..
