  1. Are these cargo covers the same thing?

Mine have been out since day 1. I did the same with the Escape.
  2. Are these cargo covers the same thing?

Was this what you were thinking?
  3. Are these cargo covers the same thing?

Ok, I’ll whip you up a 3D model. Ok
  4. Are these cargo covers the same thing?

I could probably make you a 3d model of the posts if you give me an idea of what you are thinking.
  5. Took my Badlands to the Maze District in Canyonlands National Park

The 2 door definitely rides like a body on frame truck compared to the more car like ride of the Sport. Wind noise is higher on the full size but I have the mod hard top so it’s not as bad as the soft top. It gets worse once you hit 70-80. The Sport isn’t terribly noisy but I have the...
  6. Took my Badlands to the Maze District in Canyonlands National Park

Unfortunately, my wife refuses to be a spotter. While my Badlands Sport has a front camera, I’ve found that having a shorter wheel base and 7 more inches of ground clearance at the pinchweld, the 2 door just makes it less stressful for me. I haven’t hit the pinchwelds of the Sport but it took...
  7. Took my Badlands to the Maze District in Canyonlands National Park

It’s less stressful atleast for me. I love my Sport but it has its place and steps and ledges isn’t one of them for me.
  8. Took my Badlands to the Maze District in Canyonlands National Park

Nice write up and pictures. Moab is awesome. I love the Canyonlands NP. What you discovered is one of the biggest downfalls of the Sport. It just doesn’t have the ground clearance for many of the rock type trails with steep steps and climbs. Even with the lifts and slightly larger tires...
  9. Luggage Control

Another option is a pet security gate for automobiles. They attach behind the rear seat. That might be easier than the net. They have them on Amazon.
  10. What Was Your Father's Old Car?

My father’s first nice fun car was a ā€˜57 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner. It was my grandfathers and he gave it to my father when he got his ā€˜65 Mustang. It is still in the family.
  11. Was Globe a Bust?

We typically get off the 202 westbound on the 101 north unless going to the west side but never go there during rush hour. Normally dead as is the north loop of the east valley 202. That’s gotten busier as the work on the south loop has been getting work done. My daughter lives in Gilbert, so...
  12. Was Globe a Bust?

That’s a great trip. Route 60 took a beating last year near Miami due to flooding. We were up in Lakeside-Pinetop in the fall and were lucky to get back without a large detour. I’m surprised you got through the south loop 202 with no issues. It’s been hit or miss with complete shut downs...
  13. Spare tire addition.

There are some hitch mounted options out there. edit: too old and slow!
  14. Spare tire addition.

Agreed, just confirming there is no extra lip at the rear for the cargo floor even for the earlier models.
  15. Spare tire addition.

There is not an extra lip at the bumper, only near the back of the rear seats. This is the case for even the earlier models.
