  1. NEW BRONCO SPORT COMING!

I love it! 50 years ago, my boss called into the office pretending to be from the telephone company (before caller ID and when phones still had wires for you youngsters) and telling the receptionist that they were cleaning out the lines and she should tell people to place their phones in a...
  2. NEW BRONCO SPORT COMING!

Considering Ford has dropped the 2 door from most of the full size trim offerings, no chance in the world they would have done this on the Sport. I do miss the April Fools jokes when still working.
  3. Say Hello and Introduce Yourself! ?

Welcome to the party. No Katskins here, but I hear they are the best as far as covers go. I prefer the cloth, but it seems I’m in the minority.
  4. I'll probably buy tires from Ford soon, any suggestions between these 4?

My son in law put these on his RAV4 TRD and likes them very much. He drives about 100 miles per day including during the winter in Wisconsin.
  5. I'll probably buy tires from Ford soon, any suggestions between these 4?

Don’t forget Ford will typically meet plus 10% less on any tire they have that someone else local has. Too bad they can’t get the Falkens ATw3 235/65-17 still like Discount tire still has.
  6. Quashish Family Ride Thread : 2024 Badlands

I could probably cover mine with electrical tape and it would be just as useful for me. My wife is constantly reminding me it’s there. Some habits are hard to break!
  7. No Outback Wilderness for me - Changed my mind (new here)...

A lot better options out there for chasing gas milage. Like @The Shark says, the real world difference between the 2 door and the BSBL isnā€˜t much. I get 18-20 with my 2 door and 22-24 with the BSBL with every day driving. The BSBL is definitely better on the highway as far as gas milage. Off...
  8. No Outback Wilderness for me - Changed my mind (new here)...

The 2 door is definitely more fun to drive than the Sport and not really much bigger and way better off road in my opinion but for his use case, I’d say the BSBL is the better choice of the two. If I only planned on an occasional forest road or other light off roading, then the BSBL is perfect...
  9. No Outback Wilderness for me - Changed my mind (new here)...

That’s why I ended up keeping it. The plan was to just have the 2 door but I reserved in October 2020 to get the Granger 2k below invoice but that put me on the really really late bus so Granger stepped up and offered the BSBL at 6% below invoice plus 1K cash back from Ford. It was tough to...
  10. Lost faith

No, the battery recall. I still have the howl. It doesn’t bother me enough to take it in.
  11. No Outback Wilderness for me - Changed my mind (new here)...

Definitely go with the 2.0. The clearance issue and lack of really low gearing are the two biggest issues keeping it from some off roading. You can add a small lift and slightly larger tires but with folks driving around on 37’s, it might mean a lot of rock stacking to get past an obstacle...
  12. Back UP Camera Image display

It took me a long time to even start using it. I guess one of the good things about being as old as the dinosaur. None of the auto Nannie’s even existed for most of our driving years. Personally, I prefer the rearview mirror. That does require the rear window to be clean. You could look...
  13. Lost faith

My 2022 Badlands celebrated it’s 4th anniversary. No issues what so ever unless you count the extra loud back up horn when damp out. Ford did come out to the house once after I finally got sick of them bugging me to replace a perfectly good battery. I found out later it was a huge money maker...
  14. Key fob battery life

Four years this month. No issues with the fob I’ve always used.
  15. Mini Road Trip (Tucson)

We took a short trip to Green Valley last week as well. Happy to see most of the construction on 10 in Tucson is nearly complete. Now, if someone could adopt Interstate 10 and start picking up all the trash!
