  1. Ford Trying to Figure Out Buttons

Ford CEO Jim Farley Says Physical Buttons Still Being Figured Out In Ford's survey, 96% of respondents preferred buttons over digital controls. Hallelujah! Maybe there is hope that buttons will make a comeback.
  2. Ford Dealership refusing to repair active recalls.

Recalls are issued by the government to correct safety defects and are mandatory. The dealer normally cannot legally refuse to do them. I've had a few recalls over the years and some of them were just inspections to determine if the defect existed on my vehicle while others actually replaced...
  3. I wanted to share something helpful

The area I live in is very rural, county roads with 45 mph speed limits and stop signs every 2-3 miles.
  4. I wanted to share something helpful

It’s absolutely related to the original post since the claim is this oil additive increases gas mileage and then uses the on-board fuel economy gauge as the yardstick.
  5. I wanted to share something helpful

The only reliable way to compute mileage is with a paper and pen (or calculator) and even then it’s not going to be dead accurate unless you can figure out a way to fill the tank to the exact same level before and after the calculation. The dash gauge is an approximation using an algorithm...
  6. Used Ford Bronco Sport SUVs

I junked a three year-old LG counter depth French door refrigerator due to reliability issues. None of them run as reliably as the old freon models. ,
  7. Used Ford Bronco Sport SUVs

Those were all standard on my Badlands.
  8. Will it hold a 150 quart cooler...YES

    That's a lot of beer!
  9. Red fluid leak

I'm thinking transmission fluid if the color in the pic is close to what it looks like in person.
  10. Power Liftgate Actuator

It took me a long time to learn not to manually close the power lift gate on our Cherokee. I like the manual lift gate on the Bronco Sport.
  11. Used Ford Bronco Sport SUVs

We still have a 2014 Jeep Cherokee with that crappy ZF tranny. To Jeep’s credit, they extended the warranty on the transmission to 10 years or 100k miles. The software patches did keep ours from grenading. it’s funny that the ZF 9 speed was in a lot of different platforms across many...
  12. Thought this was cool - Boston Police Bronco Sport

I can't imagine buying a Bronco Sport for a fleet vehicle given its dismal reliability, especially the running gear.
  13. Thank You Ford

We don't need to "judge" anything. The OP stated his problem and laid out a few unpalatable options he has for dealing with them. How he got into that situation isn't really relevant when he considers his options. I too am perplexed by the antipathy directed at him.
