I like the wireless mounts but I do not like wireless CarPlay. It's almost always me in the car so I'm thinking I'll get a regular MagSafe mount and maybe a GoPro and mic mount later. Although I haven't done much traveling to need those lately.

I’m looking for a mount for my iPhone. Everyone was on about the Bullet Point but some are saying Tackform does a better job. The thing is I can’t find much information on it. Does anyone have one and can talk about how it attaches and any pros and cons?

Find a new mechanic. I've learned dealerships are always going to be more expensive. They have expertise and training for that specific car. But that doesn't mean they're going to do right by the customer nor are they going to be able to solve without replacing everything along the way.
