I like the wireless mounts but I do not like wireless CarPlay. It's almost always me in the car so I'm thinking I'll get a regular MagSafe mount and maybe a GoPro and mic mount later. Although I haven't done much traveling to need those lately.
I’m looking for a mount for my iPhone. Everyone was on about the Bullet Point but some are saying Tackform does a better job. The thing is I can’t find much information on it.
Does anyone have one and can talk about how it attaches and any pros and cons?
A couple of days ago I noticed a small crack coming from the lower passenger side of my windshield. I haven't looked at the outside but inside, it looks to be about 18 inches long.
I called Safelite and was told it was too long to repair. I have not called my insurance to see if they cover...
I'm at 38k so I missed the 30k. I was transferred at work a few months back. I went from a 3.5 mile round trip to work to a 90 mile round trip. Those miles added up fast!
I'll get those other 3 fluids changed soon. My look Ford quoted $250 for the transmission.
Just curious how these compare to the Ford plates off the Black Diamond package. For the earlier years of BS, the BD Package was pretty much the plates and some decals. I wonder how they compare to just in price but in quality.
This is my first AWD car so I'm not familiar with some of these acronyms.
I want to make sure I'm changing the right fluids. These are the ones I'm aware of:
Oil - follow the Oil Life Indicator
Brake - every 3 years
Coolant - Every 5 years (couldn't find anything but that's what my last 2...
Looks like an exciting upgrade!
I normally would jump on this but I have to ask..
Besides wireless CarPlay, what would I be gaining? I'm not a fan of wireless right now. And I almost exclusively use CarPlay.
I have a GoPro Hero something. It's a few years old but I guess that doens't matter since you're looking for a mount.
I used the GoPro branded suction cup stuck to the windshield under the rear view mirror.
Here's a video...
If you have a 2025, I think there are mounting holes built into...
I was at college majoring in Music Education. I was in the middle of a lesson when another professor came in and gave us the news. We just kind of sat there and my professor said we should cancel and finish up later.
I don't remember if I went to other classes or if they were canceled. I...
Find a new mechanic.
I've learned dealerships are always going to be more expensive. They have expertise and training for that specific car. But that doesn't mean they're going to do right by the customer nor are they going to be able to solve without replacing everything along the way.
Thanks. I was really leaning towards the BFG Trail Terrains but since there's only a Firestone dealer in town, I had considered Firestone/Bridgestone. I hadn't looked into them too much since most suggest BFG, Falken, or Toyo.
Looks like a good time!
How was the road noise with those tires? I'm wanting some more aggressive tires but since most of my driving is on pavement, I don't want to deal with the drone of treads.
Now don't get me wrong.... I'd love a BLS. But for me in South Texas where there aren't many trails and a sandy beach is pretty much all I have, BBBD meets my needs and most BS owners.
