Agree . . . maintenance and not over-taxing the vehicle are most important, but a short warm up and cool down donāt cost anything and turbo, or not, Iād never go full bore on a cold engine.
Have same ā21 BSBL with low mileage (retired). Every time my mind wanders to new cars/trucks I slap myself and repeat the mantra five times, āPaid for, runs great, perfect for meā. š¤Ŗ
Have a plastic??? case on my iPhone which slightly wraps over the front bezel. This must insulate the phone from the pad. My charging pad never activates, phone never gets warm, when placed face down on the pad. Have done this for four years+ with drives lasting as much as 8-10 hours without a...
Unfortunately, I donāt think you can mount really functional front tow hooks on any BS except BL. The BL has brackets welded behind the bumper that donāt exist on the other trims. Without those brackets thereās no way to reinforce the tow hooks to take the strain of pulling on them. This was one...
Posted this before, but here it is again . . . Lay phone on pad face down; it wonāt activate charger, so can even be wired for charging. Unless you need to see the screen this solves the storage and charging problem, and I think āallā phone functions can be accessed from the infotainment screen.
Happy Birthday! Enjoy it all while you can ā donāt miss a thing!! After double heart-attack at 60, things have kindaā gone downhill, and at 77 I wish Iād done much more, much sooner.
All these deletions/changes are one reason Iām still driving my ā21 BL. Iāve worked around the charger and keep my door opener in the sunglass cubby; wonāt part with the folding rear headrests, rear gate button, and rear floods. Donāt put thousands of miles on per month, have extended warranty...
Maybe itās just me . . . but I see some problems with changing ASS, so I just have to keep trying to remember to āpush the buttonā before it shuts off the first time:
1. I donāt have the necessary laptop/software and I donāt want to buy them just for that.
2. Nothing is free . . . the dealer...
I understand your dilemma. One of my rears went bad at about 30,000 miles (but past 36 mos). Both rears were replaced under my extended warranty. Now, at 45,000 miles and 5 years, all is fine. I have to decide if I need a new shock now do I go with OEM (that extended warranty thing) or upgrade...
Sorry to hear about your wife, and hope for a swift recovery.
Almost any furry critter is Godās gift to us. Weāve always been dog folks, but now have a cat (who still doesnāt like me a lot <lol>) that was/is feral and my wife took in about 3 months ago ā sheās now completely a house cat (sheās...
Yeah, the only time I went to a doctor was if I got injured on the job, or a ānew hire physicalā. Then one day it happened ā everything āwent to s**tā and now itās multiple doctors and tests every three months . . . ah, the golden years š¤¬
