Tightening it won’t help the clanking comes from not having a cut out for the strut hat, I learned the hard way by having a readylift which supposedly fixed, as what I was told directly from readylift.
Yes I can confirm this I had a ready lift installed which clanked , replaced it with hrg and no clanking. Hrg has the cut out for the top of the strut(hat). That is where the clanking comes from,it compresses the top to the spacers.

Yes that is correct, I had the same problem with readylift. Here is a picture of how they should look the green ones have cut out( hrg) the black ones ready lift and has no cut out for strut hat.

I used a bottle jack and a 6by6 beam (cut off). Jacked up each side and put jack stands. Then took off tires. You will needed a impact for lug nuts if you do it this way if not some one to hold brakes so tire don’t turn to break loose.
