This panel provides more than just a protection barrier to the A/C blower
Apparently it functions as a sound deadening component
Possibly even to eliminate engine compartment noise
I'd not pass on this if your dealer will provide one

My under dash panel came in yesterday. And it was wronh part. I had to personally give part number to service guy today. Oh well. At least there covering everything

When I sent over the part numbers for the engine cover, studs, and the dash cover I asked my salesperson to use my Ford points to pay for the engine cover. They had agreed to pay for the dash cover. I was told that the part numbers weren't Ford parts! That statement was retracted shortly after and hopefully the correct parts will arrive. This hasn't given me a lot of confidence in Ford..

Ill let you know if i actually get mine in hand.. and i also payed for engine cover and 3 studs outof pocket. $132.00 out the door

Assembled and installed roof rails. A day after washing, it's almost yellow again. Photo panned to eliminate trash bins.
