Wonder if ford is gonna take the hybrid from the maverick and add it to the bronco sport line up?
I wouldn't see why not. Jeep just released their info on the 4xE model of their Rubicon. Hybrids are going to be more and more common I'm sure now that they are becoming more accessible with various manufacturers. I feel that Hybrids will come more mainstream well before full electric vehicles do.

Don't talk about gas prices. Talk about oil prices. Oil price has steadily dropped over the last week or two. Gas will follow, but it's "mysteriously" fast to rise and slower to fall in relation to the oil.

When summer travel season hits full on with an open country , all bets off the table again.

While I’m not happy about the gas prices, I am extremely pleased with my BS BB mpg! I am running in eco-mode most of the time and averaging 30mpg! I have had my BS since September and no complaints. My 3 previous cars were Escapes, which I loved, but have been waiting for the Bronco to be released and I am NOT disappointed! Better gas mileage and I love the ride. If you are willing to monitor your driving habits, you can use the eco- mode to your advantage and save a little on the higher gas prices.

I’m in SoCal — don’t want to talk about gas prices, just raises my blood pressure . . .
Right there with you. I laugh when the rest of the country gets all spun up on anything over $4. We've been living that for the past 3 years. Average in San Diego is well over $6 and creeping toward $7, just insane.

Woosa.....Woosa.....Goosfraba.....

Got a deal today -- yeah!!!! Regular @ Costco only $5.40 per gal, AND . . . at 0600 I didn't have to park on the street to get into the station!

$6-$7/gallon in San Diego! Dang!!
Given I paid $20 for a burger the last time I went home to La Jolla, I shouldn't be surprised.

And yes, we do cry on the east coast when gas prices approach $4/gal.
$6-$7, and we'd revolt.

Fortunately, my other ride is an electric Harley. The EV transition is slow, but we're getting over 50% of our house electricity from renewable energy in Massachusetts, coastal anyway. Wind and solar. So the Bronco Sport is my opportunity to help support some of the most stable, peace-loving governments on earth.

:) My daily. If I don't 'gun it' (LOL who says that anymore) or use the AC, she does 42MPG. With only an 8 gal. tank, it's not nearly as painful as filling up the Frontier.

I'd rather pay for the gas.

I'd love a Bronco / BS PHEV. With about 20 miles of commuting each day I could drive on battery power most of the time, but still have gas for longer trips and off-roading.

Someone asked me today how I felt about the Sport not being the big Bronco. Having just fueled up my Sport, feel just fine in real life.
