Lol. I hate that now on my Lincoln MKC Reserve. Good to know I'll still be dealing with it when I get my BS. ?
That was the first thing I disabled with FORScan. I'm SO happy that it's gone. I hope the engineer responsible for that "feature" has an itchy spot right in the middle of their back that they can't reach for the rest of their life.

If you leave the key fob in the vehicle does it still do this? Also if you walk away from the vehicle with the door open does it still do this? I've been driving a Honda Accord with a push button start and seems to beep as well. But I can get around the beeps if I'm just stepping out for a hot second by leaving the key fob in the vehicle or keeping the driver door open when I walk away.
No and No. I now try to not allow the door to fully close when checking my mail or doing something else while running. But Forscan is in my future to make it go away permanently.

I hate that the headlights always go to automatic when it starts. I hate that I can not get a 2" lift kit for my Outer banks. I hate that a trailer hitch is still not available. Okay I stop now.

Is the OB somehow different from the Big Bend, or do you have a specific type of hitch in mind? I bought a Curt class III hitch for my BB.

I have a few... I should say that I do love my BS but.... I live in northern BC( Canada) and we get a crap ton of snow. I hate the giant gap the snow builds up in under the windshield. The rear window should be bigger. The seats are not comfortable for long stretches. I am 5"3 and find it difficult. The passenger seat is completely different than the drivers seat and even less comfortable. The back seat should seriously have more leg room, and the fact that everything is plastic. Cold temps and plastic do NOT go hand in hand.
But I still love it. I would be in a full size Bronco if I could afford it.

1- The sun visor is poorly designed. When down, it either blocks the rear view mirror, or your vision.
2- I don't like the placement of the parking brake and other controls. It's too easy to accidentally engage 4WD or something else. There should be a locking mechanism you could engage.
3- Wish it had an electric liftgate.

Otherwise, I LOVE my BS and I'm very happy with the purchase.

I've had mine a year now and my original two complaints are still the only two I have.
I wish the 2/3 split rear seat had the wider side on the passenger side, narrower behind the driver. For car camping, that would allow you to hop in and drive instantly, (when going from sleep to drive mode), because the driver's seat wouldn't be moved all the way forward to accomodate having slept in the back. In an emergency, like having to leave a site immediately, you could just hop up front and drive away.

While I'm pretty happy overall with my BS, there are a few things that I find a bit annoying:
1. The lack of cargo space in the rear with the rear seat up -- it's less than what I had in my Subaru WRX hatchback. Another 9-12 cubic feet would've been kind of nice.
2. The trip time clock on the dashboard readout. It's all but completely useless to me, and Ford seriously dropped the ball in not providing an option to switch it to the current chronological time.
3. The rear hatch doesn't automatically unlock with close proximity of the key fob. I guess I got a bit spoiled with that option on my Lexus, so it's not a showstopper, but does come in handy at times.

Memory seats would have been nice, as well as power lift gate.

I've owned my Big Bend not quite 2 months and have 1300 miles on her. I am completely happy with its performance in all aspects. The auto start/stop feature and auto running lights are annoyances I will live with. They don't affect my driving pleasure in the least. What does get to me are the parts that are missing that should have been installed during production. Specifically, the dash panel insulator under the passenger side, and as I have posted on another thread, of the missing fog lights that were listed on my window sticker as standard equipment and included, but they weren't installed. These are manufacturer gripes I have, that made the new vehicle purchase experience less than I expected. Having said that, I love my Bronco Sport Big Bend. It is hopefully going to be with me a very long time.
